Carol Jane Truax, 80, of Colliers, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Born in Steubenville on August 4, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Rose Corrinne Weimer Lutes.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her daughter Nina Tennant, brother David Lutes, sisters Donna Rae Buzzard, Rita Mae Sigley, Brenda Ann McVicker, Susan Thompson, and Ruth Lutes.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Steven (Valerie) Truax of Weirton, Brian (Saundra) Truax of Colliers, grandchildren John (Sara) Tennant, Megan (Jeff) Rice, and seven great-grand children.
Carol's wish for cremation will be honored.
She will be cremated at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Crematory, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, 26062.
