Earl "Bucky" Wendt, 90, of Follansbee, WV passed away March 6, 2025, at home.
Bucky was born August 18, 1934, in Follansbee, WV to the late Fred and Dorothy Swartz Wendt.
He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he worked as a millwright, was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Follansbee, WV, and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Meribelle and JoAnn Wendt.
He is survived by his two loving children, Jerry E. Wendt and Debra of Paola, Kansas, and Alice and David Hubbell of Emerson, GA; sister, Darlene Kemp, and nephew Kory McKenney, both of Follansbee, WV; and niece, Krystal McKenney.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 10, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home, 1515 Charles St., Wellsburg, WV 26070. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 11 at the funeral home at 11a.m. with Pastor Tim Colvin officiating, interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
