Edward E. Porter, 65, of Toronto, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2025 at Trinity Medical Center West.
He was born January 18, 1960 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Murray and Norma (Gourley) Porter. Ed worked for Timet for over 22 years, was a member of the Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Toronto American Legion Post #86. He was a collector and loved old artifacts.
Ed is survived by his wife, Amy (Meager) Porter; brothers, Dave (Deanna) Porter and Jim Porter; sisters, Carolyn (Dave) Byers and Cindy (Dave) Rawson; brother- in-law, George Meager; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 4-7 PM. Funeral services at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Toronto Union Cemetery.
