STEPHEN DISERIO

He was born on September 19, 1958, in Wheeling, WV a son of Alfred D. Diserio of Wellsburg, WV and the late Helen (Frohnapfel) Diserio. In addition to his mother Stephen is preceded in death by one brother, David Allen Diserio and one nephew, David Lynn Diserio.

Stephen graduated from Brooke High Class of 1976 and attended West Virginia University. Stephen worked in the coal industry as an engineer. Later, he worked in Respiratory Therapy at Ohio Valley Medical Center. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Wellsburg, WV. He was also a member of the Cedar Lodge in Follansbee, WV and several mine rescue teams.

In addition to his father, Stephen is survived by five siblings, Francine Kraus (Joe Tost) of Wellsburg, WV, Gregory (Patty) Diserio of Ft. Myers, FL, Nancy (Mike) Diserio Jones of Charleston, SC, Kevin (Donna) Diserio of Follansbee, WV, Christopher Diserio of Wellsburg, WV; dear friend, Val Santangelo of Follansbee, WV; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Liturgy of the Word with Father Justin Golna officiating at 12:00 pm at Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037.

Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery in Wellsburg, WV.
