KENNETH HENWOOD
Kenneth F. Henwood, 71 of Weirton, WV died peacefully following complications from cancer on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Woodland Hills Assisted Living Facility.
He was born on August 21, 1953, in Weirton, WV a son of the late Robert E. Henwood, Sr. (Ethel) and Dolores (Pugh) Fulton (Bill).
He was raised in Paris, PA and graduated from Burgettstown High School in 1971. He made his living working at Weirton Steel Corporation for 32 years and was a member of the 25-year club there until he suffered a massive stroke in 2005.
He is survived by three sons, Lance Henwood of Wheeling, WV, Kenneth Henwood of Weirton, WV, Joseph Henwood of Weirton, WV; three brothers, Robert Henwood, Jr. (Elaine) of Sebring, FL, Gerald (Kellie) Henwood of Winter Haven, FL, and Timothy Henwood of Cadiz, OH; his grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to recognize and give thanks to Tammy and the staff at Woodland Hills for taking such good care of Kenny for many years. Go Steelers and F! Ace! as Kenny would say!
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating at Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037.
Interment will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery in Paris, PA.
