WILLIAM DeLEONARDIS

William “Bill” James DeLeonardis, 85, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away on May 15, 2025. He was born on June 25, 1939, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Frank and Dorothy (Polen) DeLeonardis. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Freda DeLeonardis; and his brothers, Harold and Gerry DeLeonardis.

Bill was a 1957 graduate from Jefferson Union High School, was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, and worked at the Steubenville Pottery before retiring from Titanium Metals (Timet). He was also a faithful member of the First Westminster Presbyterian Church in Steubenville, Ohio, and also attended the Richmond United Presbyterian Church for many years.

He is survived by his son, Todd (Elizabeth “DeDe”) DeLeonardis; his sister, Donna DeLeonardis; his grandchildren, Erica (Josh) Axmacher, Justin (Laura) Smith, and Danielle (Walker) Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Eliana, Joella “JoJo”, Ariella “Arie”, Macy, Asher, Kaden, and Mattie.

Friends will be received for visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 5-8 P.M. An additional hour of visitation will be held the following day, Monday, May 19, 2025, from 10 A.M. until time of services at 11 A.M. with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Union Cemetery.
