ANN MARIE GRAYZAR

Ann Marie (Krulcik) Grayzar, 90, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at a Place to Call Home Elderly Care in Strongsville, OH.

Ann was born March 16, 1935, in Smithfield, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary and sister, Leona Zifzal.

She was a member of the St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale, OH where she was a lector, Eucharistic Minister, and member of the Catholic Women’s Club. Ann was also a member of the Smithfield Historical Society, the Rosebud and Smithfield Garden Clubs, and the Cook Club. In her early years she worked for 25 years as a Bus Driver for Buckeye Local Schools until her retirement.

Ann had a passion for gardening and was very involved in community service. She loved life and embraced it to the fullest. Even in her last days, she continued to touch many with her kindness, compassion, and cheerful disposition.

Ann leaves behind two daughters, Connie Grayzar of Virginia, and Jennifer Grayzar of California; one sister, Patricia Dawson; one brother, Edward (Janey) Krulcik; two grandchildren, Mike Juliano and Alexandria (Garrett) Ashbaugh; and three great grandchildren, Julian, Weston, and Callen Ashbaugh.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 15 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield. A public viewing will also be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale followed by a Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11 a.m. Father William Cross will celebrate with burial to follow at Northern Cemetery in Smithfield.
