WILLIAM CORELLA

William P. Corella, a loving father and dedicated grandfather, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Trinity West Hospital. He was born on February 22nd, 1941, in Bergholz to the late Anthony and Evelyn Harris Corella.

Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife Judy Kelly Corella and his two sons Doug and Anthony Corella. Bill will be missed greatly by his sons, Marc (Debbie) Corella, William (Michelle) Corella and Anthony’s widow Lidella Huber Corella. Bill’s unwavering love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren was known by all. Bill was loved deeply by his grandchildren, Kristina (Jonathan) Albarano, Justin (Chelsey) Corella, Briana (Dominic) Simeral, Douglas (Sauntavia Miller) Corella, Noah Corella, Tyler (Emily Bottegal) Corella, and Shae Corella. Bill was the very proud great grandfather of Chloe Noelle Albarano and Luca Anthony Corella with another three on the way. Bill is survived by his only brother Anthony Corella Jr.

Bill graduated from Steubenville Catholic Central High School and then joined the United States Navy. Upon discharging from the military Bill operated a china business and worked in the Life Insurance industry before joining Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. Bill retired from the 80 inch and spent his remaining years with his beloved family and friends. Bill enjoyed tending to his yard and flowers, as well as, going to the shooting range with his sons and grandchildren.

Bill was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. He was also a member of the Steubenville Pistol Club. Bill and Judy, prior to her passing, loved traveling to Florida to spend time with their friends in retirement. Bill will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Calling hours are Tuesday 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 am Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Fr. Michael Gossett, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a vigil service Tuesday at 5:45 pm.
