DOROTHY PUSKARICH

Dorothy was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. After graduating, she worked as a legal secretary for Wheeling Pitt Steel. Dorothy was a dear mother and friend–she was the heart and soul of her family. She was always full of wisdom, endless love and support, and with a sternness when needed. Her kindness and her strength was abundantly clear and more often than not, quietly delivered. She found joy in helping others without acknowledgement.

Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Her dedication to her oldest son, Peter, was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and Pete! Her boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of her three sons, Patrick, Philip and Frank. Dorothy’s generous heart and great laugh will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. To know her was to love her.

Dorothy was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband of 57 years, Peter P. Puskarich, Sr. in 2020; a son, Peter P. “Petey” Puskarich, Jr.; and four siblings, David, Mary, Thomas, and Betty.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Patrick (Wendy), Philip (Lesley), and Frank, all of Hopedale, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Garan of Dover, Ohio, Lois Puskarich of Cadiz and Mary Bell Puskarich of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to thank the staff at the Harrison County home for the exceptional care and compassion they showed their mother during her time there. For this reason, they ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Harrison County Home, 41500 Cadiz- Dennison Road, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.

Per her wishes, cremation will take place.
