EDITH HUDSON
Edith Hudson, 82, of New Cumberland, passed away Saturday July 12, 2025. She was born on November 15, 1942, in Reeder WV, the daughter of the late William and Ona (Lemasters) Eastham. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Hudson; two sisters, Mary Eastham and Emma Minor; four brothers, Robert, Howard, Earl and Roy Eastham.
Edith retired from the Hancock County Schools, last working as a cook.
She is survived by three sons, George (Sheila) Hudson of East Liverpool, Paul (Michele) Hudson and Douglas (Sharon) Hudson all of New Cumberland and a daughter, Angel Midcap of New Cumberland; eight grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Peggy Straight and Kay Hudson both of New Cumberland and Joyce Eddy of WV and a brother, Kenneth Eastham of Hundred.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. The Nixon Funeral Home of New Cumberland was in charge of arrangements.
