BERNARD LOVY
Bernard David Lovy, 77, of New Cumberland passed away Friday August 22, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian hospital Pittsburgh, PA. He was a retired chef.
He was born March 15, 1948 in Steubenville, OH. A son of the late Daniel M. & Selma M. (Bradley) Lovy. He was also preceded in death by his wife Lorriane (Orwasky) Lovy, sisters Mary Karpinski & Cindy Arango and brothers Daniel & Edward Lovy.
Surviving are 2 daughters Suzanne (William) Tennant of Weirton, WV & Kimberly (James) Branham of Fairmont, WV, 2 sisters Frances Rocchio & Regina (Paul) Miller both of New Cumberland, WV, 1 brother Robert (Linda) Lovy of New Cumberland, WV and 3 Grandchildren Olivia & Abbey Tennant & Meghan Branham.
He was a lifelong fan of Bob Segar and was usually seen wearing one of his “Segar” shirts. Bernie’s sense of humor was “unique”, that only close family and friends could appreciate. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and beloved cat, “Mamma”
Private services and burial will be held at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
