JOLYNN WOJTAS
JoLynn Chadwick Wojtas, 50, of Toronto, OH, died Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her entire family.
JoLynn was born January 17, 1975, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Joseph W. Chadwick and Vicki (Dawson) Chadwick, who survives.
She was a 1993 graduate of Toronto High School. JoLynn went on to receive an associate degree in Travel & Tourism from the Boyd School of Pittsburgh.
JoLynn’s degree landed her a job with US Air at the Pittsburgh Int’l. Airport, where she worked until they closed operations in 2008. She would move on to work for Tri-State Printing from 2008-2015 and TEAM Ford from 2015-2018, both in Steubenville.
She was a member of the Riverview Methodist Church and the former secretary for the Toronto Titans for many years. JoLynn had a heart of gold and a deep love for her Red Knights and Ohio State Buckeyes but nothing compared to the love she had for her family.
In addition to her father Joe, JoLynn was preceded in death by her uncle John Bain, aunt Sharon Chadwick, paternal grandparents Beatrice and Joseph Chadwick and maternal grandfather, Cliff Dawson.
JoLynn leaves behind her husband of almost 25 years, Stephen J. Wojtas, whom she married Nov. 18, 2000; mother, Vicki Chadwick; three sisters, Jennifer Chadwick, Patricia Chadwick, and Tammy Jaworski (fiance Vernon Jackson), one brother, Joey (Alexis) Chadwick, and mother-in-law, Drucilla Jenkins, all of Toronto; her loving dog Bella; four aunts, two uncles, three nieces and five nephews.
Family and friends will be received Sunday, August 10 from 1 to 4 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where services will be held Monday at 11 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate and entombment will follow in the Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.
