PATRICIA DAVIDSON

Born on June 19, 1944, in East Liverpool, she was the beloved daughter of the late Tom and Elsie Coleman Davidson.

Patricia’s dedication to education was evident as she graduated from Wellsville High School and later pursued further studies at West Virginia Community College in 1991. For 24 years, Patricia poured her heart into her work as a registered nurse, ultimately retiring from Intracorp/Cigna Insurance.

A proud Democrat, she actively engaged in her community by volunteering during elections, where she sent postcards advocating for local and federal candidates. An insatiable reader and lifelong learner, she found joy in gardening, birdwatching, playing and listening to music, and most importantly, enjoying the time spent with her grandchildren, who were her greatest treasures.

Patricia leaves behind a devoted daughter, Amanda K. (Mike) Szurek; her brother, Thomas (Joan) Davidson of Sebring, OH; her sister, Becky Amon of Glenmoor, OH; and her adoring grandchildren, Nathan and Mara Szurek of Butler, PA. She was preceded in death by her cherished son, David Fetty Jr., and her sister, Cindy Cramer.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia’s life on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Arner Funeral Chapel, where visiting hours will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a heartfelt service at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, honoring her beloved canine companion, Darla. Patricia’s spirit and kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
