MARK JOYCE

Mark was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Christine Joyce; his daughters, Erinn Zacharias (Jonathan) and Adrienne Morris (Brad); and his cherished grandchildren, Sloane, Monroe, Isabella, Palmer, Nico, and new granddaughter on the way. He is also survived by his siblings Charley Joyce (Karen), Gary Joyce (Marty), Dana Joyce (Carol), Sandy Montgomery (Joe), and Karen Gilbert (Rock); his beloved in-laws Tom and Sophie Diamond; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mark dedicated 42 years to the steel industry at Weirton Steel/ArcelorMittal. He earned a journalism degree from Kent State University and a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh. A man of steadfast faith, he was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

He will be remembered as a loyal husband, a proud father, and an adoring grandfather whose love and integrity touched all who knew him.

Visitation will be held Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church from 10:00 am until time of Mass at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Fort Steuben Burial Estates. Fr. Tim Huffman will celebrate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
