PAUL SHERWOOD

He was born March 18, 1937, to the late Clifford and Olive Coulter Sherwood. In addition to his parents, Paul was also proceeded in death by his loving wife, Carol Davis Sherwood in 2014; brothers, Ralph, Tom, Ken, and David (Max) Sherwood, sisters, Emily (Babe) Sherwood Sestito and Janet Sherwood Allen.

Paul is survived by his amazing, loving children, Douglas (Mary Ellen) Sherwood of Toronto, Robin (Tom) Yuenger of Sun City, AZ, and Debra Walker of Roseville, CA; his grandchildren, Shawn (Mary Beth) Sherwood of Toronto, Anna Marie (Brad) Saylor of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Jeremy (Breann) Sherwood of Toronto, Nathan Yuenger of Columbus, OH, Alexander Walker of Nashville, TN, Valerie (Nathan) Foust of St. Louis, MO, Jordan (Nicole) Walker of Sacramento, CA, and Melissa Walker of Charleston, SC. He also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren and a sister, Nancy Sherwood Bodrog of Toronto, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was a 1955 graduate of Toronto High School. He was retired from the former W.H. Sammis Power Plant and a member of the Toronto Sunrise Senior Citizens.

Family and friends may gather on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 12 noon to 1 pm at J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, where a Memorial Service will follow at 1 pm. Paul’s burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
