ROBERT WERKIN

He was born September 16, 1937, in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Paul and Erla Warrick Werkin. Robert is also preceded in death by his son, Michael Werkin and sister, Marilyn Bowers.

Robert was retired from Weirton Steel where he was a roller for many years. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and the Mingo Knights of Columbus Council 4361. Robert loved spending some of his time playing golf and bocce. He was also an avid outdoorsman who liked fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his wife Diana Jurasko Werkin; three sons, Bob (Laureen), Tim (Andrea) and Scott (Sherry); sister, Janice McCarthy; grandchildren Jessica, Erik, Jacob, Brandon, Jason, Brittany, Sarah; and 10 great- grandchildren.

Friends are invited to a funeral liturgy with Mass, Wednesday, September 3, 10:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
