BARBARA CRUGNALE

She was born April 25, 1942 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Amerigo “Riggie” and Agnes (Marcinko) DiPillo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Richard J. “Dick” Crugnale on Sept. 11, 2021.

Barb graduated from Mingo High School in 1960 and was a homemaker. She was a former employee of the Mingo National Bank and Mingo Drugstore and a part time secretary at the former St. Agnes School. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church where she was in the Catholic Women’s Club (former treasurer); Italian American Cultural Club (past member and treasurer), Mingo Girls Softball (founder, president and coach); Mingo Senior Citizens Club (past member) and she served on the Mingo Recreation Board.

Barb enjoyed crafting, decorating her home, collecting bears, socializing with friends and spending time with her grandsons.

Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly Crugnale of Mingo Junction, OH and Tracy (David) Ziarko of Steubenville, OH; and two grandsons, Derek Ziarko and Drake Ziarko.

Friends will be received at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Friday from 2-6 p.m. and also on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.
