BARBARA WOLFE

Barbara June (Virtue) Wolfe born 05/24/1934 went to be with the Lord on October 11th, 2025. She was greeted at heaven's gate by her parents Elizabeth & Charles Virtue, her loving husband Jim Wolfe & his twin Jack, her brothers & sisters: Charles, Lawrence, Bobby, Harry, Merle, Wanda, Bernard, Cecil, Rita, Ethel, Phillip, Theodore, Kate, Hilda, and Clyde Virtue, her children Alice (Chrissy), John (Wolfie) and her grandson John Wolfe.

She is survived by her youngest brother Richard Yost, daughters Julia (Frank) Maddera, Juliet Wolfe (Donny Taylor), her grandchildren: Jodi (Elmer) Martin, Brandi (Kenny) McAdams, Savannah, Aron (Josh) Labrie, Frankie (Kylie) Maddera, Andalyn (Steven) Maddera, great grandchildren Mikayla Livingston, Mya Snyder, Andrew Snyder, Mya Arapi,, Jade Mcadams, Emory, Allison,Ariel, Gabriel, jonah, and great great grandchild Sophia Wolfe, Aileyah, Ivy, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and bonus children/ grandchildren that she cared for along the way.

Barbara, quit school in the 8th grade to help at the farm, and made sure her children and grandkids graduated. She was a Methodist by faith, attending Findlay Church when she lived in the Southend of Steubenville. After marriage, she worked as a gas station and bar owner, a crossing guard, caretaker, and as an activities director at Lancia Villa Royale until she retired. She relocated to Las Vegas to live her best life without harsh Ohio winters, always spending as much time with family as possible. She will be truly missed.

A celebration of life held by her daughter Julie, will be held at the lodge inside of Sally Buffalo Park in Cadiz, Oh on Sunday, November 9th from 3-5. All are welcome to share in her memory with the family.
