JOYCE TAROWSKY

Joyce Ann (Carroll) Tarowsky, aged 82, originally of Weirton, West Virginia died peacefully in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 22, 2025. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio in 1943 to Edna and George William Carroll. Joyce attended Weir High before studying education at Marshall University. She taught in Oklahoma, West Virginia, and Indiana and impacted the lives of hundreds of children. Joyce was preceded in death by her father, George William Carroll; her mother Edna (Milby Carroll) Pinney; her step-father John Pinney; and her brother William Carroll (Sue). She is survived by Edward Tarowsky (Husband); Children, Matt Tarowsky, Sally (Tarowsky) Bosse (Brent), and Mark Tarowsky (Kim); Granddaughters, Maddie and Lanie Tarowsky, Josephine Bosse; Nephews, William Carroll (Heidi) and Rob Carroll; Nieces, Tami (Carroll) Hinkle and Ellie Powell.
