Peter G. Glyptis

Peter G. Glyptis, 76, died suddenly on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Peter was a devoted and loving husband and father whose greatest happiness and source of pride was his family.

Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Marlene (Wilson) Glyptis; daughters, Stephanie Glyptis (David Wasieleski) and Christina Morton (Dennis); and grandsons Joshua, Andrew, and Anthony Morton and Vincent Wasieleski.

Preceded in death by his parents Gus and Angelina (Melis) Glyptis; also survived by his brothers Theodore and Mark Glyptis and his nephews and nieces. He was born in New York, and grew up in Weirton, WV. Peter was a graduate of West Virginia University and served as CFO for Colonial Supply Company in Pittsburgh, PA. He established his own successful accounting firm in Pittsburgh where he worked until his recent retirement.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 3-7 p.m. at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home. A Trisagion service will take place at 5 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Saint George Greek Orthodox Chapel on the grounds of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cemetery, 8941 Ringeisen Road, Allison Park, PA. Father John Touloumes will officiate.
