ARTHUR TALAMINE
Arthur A. Talamine, 66, of Steubenville, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Akron General Hospital. He was born April 10, 1959, in Steubenville, a son of Rita Foley Talamine and the late Raymond L. Talamine.
Arthur was a retired laborer who worked for many years at Weirton Steel and Crown Cork & Seal. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. An avid outdoorsman, Arthur enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Pine Valley Sportsman Club. He was also an avid fan of Michigan Wolverine football and Big Red football.
In addition to his mother, Arthur is survived by his brother, Raymond J. Talamine of Steubenville; sisters Valerie Keough of Steubenville, Donna (Rick) DeMasis of Weirton, and Melissa (Richard) Crossley of Steubenville; two nephews, Richard (Heather Bachie) Crossley and Matthew Crossley; four nieces, Whitney (Chad) Piel, Ashley (Jason) Lopez, Morgan (Miguel Prospero) Talamine, and Caitlin Keough; and three great-nephews and six great-nieces.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Fr. Matthew Gossett presiding. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
