SHARLENE INGRAM

Sharlene D. (Morris) Ingram, of Unionport, Ohio, passed away on January 21, 2026. She was born on January 14, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Kermit and Cecil (Dean) Morris.

Sharlene retired from Shaffer Plaza where she worked for 22 years. Her commitment to serving her community extends far beyond her career there–Sharlene devoted over 30 years as a firefighter and EMT with numerous departments, including Bloomingdale F.D., Smithfield F.D., Smithfield EMS, Unionport F.D., Hopedale F.D. and EMS, Harrison Community Hospital EMS, and the Short Creek Fire District.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Ingram; her sons, Jeremy (Fiance, Megan) James, Brian (Amy) James; her sister, Irma Logan of Steubenville; and her grandchildren, Layla, Joseph, and Ian James.

Private services are being held at the family’s convenience. Burial will later take place at the Unionport Cemetery.
