KEVIN DAUGHERTY
Kevin “Pappy” Daugherty, 66, passed away on February 3, 2026 surrounded by love and the legacy of a life well lived. He was born on February 14, 1959, in Steubenville, Ohio.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Emilie (Fithyan) Daugherty, and his siblings, Ed Daugherty and Daphne Jenkins.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife that he married June 28, 1980, Rozita “Bunnie” Daugherty, whose companionship, devotion, and love were the center of his world Carrying on his memory are his children: Kevin (Shannon) of Cadiz, Jayson (Adrienne) of Steubenville, NiKole (Chris) Cooper of Steubenville, and Ryan of Toronto.
Kevin was a proud and devoted “Pappy” to his grandchildren: MyaKenzie, Kevin “Buddy,” Isabella “Bell,” Katelynn, Aiden, MaKenna, and Nolan, and he found immense joy in his role as great-grand- father to Oasis.
He is also survived by his sister, Peggi (Larry) Townsend of Steubenville, along with numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Kevin was a hard-working and diligent man, serving for over 25 years as Plant Supervisor of Barium & Chemicals. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and leadership.
Above all else, Kevin adored his family. His greatest happiness came from time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Whether it was sharing stories, offering guidance, or simply being present, his love for them was deep, unwavering, and unmistakable. His grand- children were his joy, his pride, and the light of his life.
Kevin loved fishing and camping, especially when those moments were shared with his grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, faithfully cheering them on and never missing a game.
A man of faith, strength, and love, Kevin leaves behind a legacy of devotion to family, quiet wisdom, and a heart that gave fully to those he loved. He will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always remembered. O-H I-O Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 2 P.M. until time of services at 4 P.M. with Pastor Kevin Daughtery officiating.
