ROGER STACEY

Roger Lynn Stacey of East Springfield Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 14th, 2026. He was surrounded by his family. Roger was born March 31, 1959, to the late Wilbert and Wanda (Cline) Stacey.

Roger attended Springfield High School and then the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School for Autobody repair. He was considered a “Jack of all trades”. He owned and operated A-Z Bedliners and Undercoating, drove truck, and worked at Denoon Lumber. He had a passion for working on cars and trucks, and a love of going to cars and truck shows with his children and grandchildren. He was a huge supporter of his three children and four grandchildren. He would always be sure to attend any activities they were a part of. He would attend and be one of their biggest cheerleaders on the sideline. Not only was Roger loved by his family but also his community, he was considered a staple because of his lending hand and loving heart. His most recent employment was at Jefferson Landmark out of Bloomingdale, Ohio.

Roger married Therese Moore from Winterville, Ohio on September 17th, 1983, and had three children. Vanessa, Zac (Sarah) Stacey and Shane (Taylor Steeves) Stacey. He was blessed with 4 wonderful grandchildren. Ayden, Lexi, Cecilia, and Easton Stacey. He is survived by his brothers and sisters. Daniel (Mary) Stacey (Daughter Christina Haught), Robert (Lalena) McCourt, Darlene (Robert) Williamson, and Brenda Russell. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Family and friends will be received for visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 1-3 P.M., with a brief service starting at 2:45 P.M. with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating. A celebration of life will take place the same day, February 21, 2026, at the East Springfield Church of the Cross, 7712 State Route 43, Bergholz, from 4-6 P.M. with Pastor Tom Snodgrass officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Roger’s name to Valley Hospice, any Pancreatic Cancer Research program of your choosing, or plant a tree in honor of Roger’s life.
