DONNA MARIE DRZAYICH STAFFILINO

Donna Marie Drzayich Staffilino, born September 24, 1947, was reunited with her family and loved ones in heaven on March 9, 2026.

A 1965 graduate of Mingo High School and a lifelong member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church, Donna found such beauty and joy in her religion and the traditions of her faith.

Donna was love and joy in human form. She had a gift for turning ordinary days into little adventures, filling every moment with laughter, warmth, and light. She fought her battle against cancer with bravery, grace and humor, most of all to shielding her family from the pain of her struggle.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary (Lugano) Drzayich.

Survived by Donna is her devoted husband Joseph M. Staffilino, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage filled with love and laughter, and the light of Donna’s life, her son, Joseph M. Staffilino II (Angela).

She loved every minute spent with her grandchildren Anthony Staffilino (Miranda), Cassie Wamsley, Paige Toothman, Ash Toothman and great-grandsons Jackson Staffilino, Kameron Staffilino and Milo Albright.

She had an exceptional bond with her brothers Nick (Terry) Drzayich and John Drzayich, Jr. She was adored by her nieces and nephews that she showered with unconditional love and shaped into people who aspire only to be as loving as she was, and they include Dana Drzayich Antol (Jeff), Michael Jankus & Nick Jankus, Mike Drzayich (Shannon), Adam Drzayich (Danielle), Katelyn & Johnathan, Amy Drzayich (Blake), Annabel & Elija, Jamie Drzayich, Martin (Andre), Ami & Ezri, Johnny Drzayich (Christie), Christopher Drzayich (Carley) & Evelyn, Sonja Drzayich Jakubek (Adam), Nadja, Noah, Micah & Nico.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday 4-7 p.m. On Saturday, friends may call at Holy Resurrection Church, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Very Rev. Rajko Kosic officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Teramana Cancer Center.
