CHARLES DILLON, JR.

He was born August 21, 1942 in Talcott, WV the son of the late Charles Lewis Dillon, Sr. and Gertrude (Allen) Dillon.

Charles was a Methodist; member of the Ohio Edison High Stack Club and Toronto American Legion Post # 86; He was a great fan of the New York Yankees and Cincinnati Bengals and was happily divorced since 1988. He retired after 33 years from the Ohio Edison Co.as a machinist and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 1961 to 1964.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Charles’ family includes, sons Charles Bradford Dillon and fiance Jamie; and Matt Dillon; grandsons, Matthew Dillon and J.T. Dillon; brother Bill Dillon and life partner Joyce Morrow.

Friends and family will gather for visitation 3 to 7 PM Thursday, April 2nd at the Clarke Funeral Home 302 Main St. Toronto.

Interment will take place 11 AM Friday April 3rd at the Island Creek Cemetery with full military honors by the Toronto American Legion Honor Guard.
