Donna Kovalcik

Donna H. Kovalcik, 80, of New Cumberland, WV, formerly of Paris, PA, passed Sunday, March 29, 2026 at home. She was born September 12, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Helen Novak Licker and Donald Licker, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Paul J. Kovalcik, Sr. (2021).

Donna was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Weirton and Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in New Cumberland. She worked various jobs throughout her life, but her passion was raising her children and watching her grandchildren grow. Nothing was superior to spending time with family and friends. Her love for those around her shined brightly every day. She will be truly missed.

Donna is survived by her loving children, Paul John Kovalcik, Jr. (Brooke), Gary Glen Kovalcik (Cindy), and Donna Jean Bradford (Mark). She also leaves her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Taylor Davis (Jim), Madison Doyle, Megan Doyle, Grace Kovalcik, Nathan Kovalcik, Maggie Kovalcik (fiancÈ Mikhi Anderson), and Mallory Snyder (Andrew); and her beloved great grandsons, James and Jack Davis. She also is survived by her loving brother, Donald Joseph Licker III (Roberta).

Visitation will take place Tuesday, April 7 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 8 at 10:30am, at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 1016 Ridge Avenue, New Cumberland, WV, with Father Bill Matheny presiding. Interment will follow at New Cumberland Cemetery.
