JAMES WINGER
James H. Winger, 85, of Wintersville died Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Valley Hospice. He was born March 12, 1941, in Steubenville. He is the son of the late James and Grace DeLeonardis Winger. He is also preceded in death by an infant son James.
James was a retired steel mill worker who had worked at many of the local steel mills. He was an avid fisherman, fly tier, and runner. James also served his country in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are nephew Michael Thompson, niece Brenda (Bryan) Campbell and sister Patricia (Robert) Thompson.
Private services were held, and burial took place in Union Cemetery.
