MARY HAGER

Mary C. Hager, 89, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away May 2, 2026 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1937 in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Robert and Jessie (Flynn) Yost. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Hager; grandchild, Jessica Hager; two brothers, Thomas and Richard Yost; infant brother, Bobby Yost.

Mary attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by two sons, John R. (Lynne) Hager of Weirton, WV and Mark S. Hager of Follansbee, WV; daughter, Karen (Ed Wilkerson) Hager of Follansbee, WV; grandchildren, Amanda, Mike, Stephanie, and Nadine; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Wednesday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
