TERRY THOMPSON SR.

He was born February 13, 1945 in Morgantown, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother, Genevieve (Stewart) Thomas; his step-father, who raised him, Walter Thomas; his wife, Frances E. Thompson on October 27, 2008; three sisters, Evelyn Jenkins, Barbara Thompson and Shirley Williams; and a grandson, Devin Dokes.

Terry was a crane operator at Weirton Steel Corp retiring in 2008.

Surviving are a son, Terry (Deborah) Thompson, Jr. of Steubenville, OH; two daughters, Shelly (John) Sheets of Toronto, OH and Lisa Marie Monigold; six grandchildren, Denell Dejulio, John (Arissa) Sheets, Caitlyn (Ryan) Bane, Kristen (Shawn) MacGregor, Sam Sheets and Shasta Monigold; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Avenue, Mingo Junction, OH on Saturday from Noon until the time of his funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jane Schockey, officiating. Private inurnment at Union Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.
