RAYMOND HARRIS
Raymond Richard Harris, age 92 of Leesburg, FL, a former resident of Wintersville, OH passed away Saturday May 30, 2026.
He was born April 22, 1934 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Raymond and Katherine (Myers) Harris. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Mae (Byrd) Harris whom he married December 19, 1964 and sisters, Ella Jane Burns and Marjorie Gelety
Raymond was a member of the Starkdale Presbyterian Church of Wintersville, OH, the Steubenville Masonic Lodge # 45, the Valley of Steubenville Scottish Rite, the Aladden Temple Shrine of Columbus and the Steubenville Elks.
He was retired from National Steel Corporation / Weirton Steel as a Research Technician and served his country in the U.S. Army.
Raymond’s family includes nephews Jeffrey Gelety and Lee Churchman and wife Regina and nieces, Ruth Oliveto and husband Jim and Susan Churchman.
To honor Raymond’s wishes, there will be a private family viewing and service.
The Toronto American Legion Honor Guard will present Military Honors.
