Robin Rae Lahita 67, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Born January 25, 1959, in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy Jean (Caldwell) Lahita. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Jo Lahita.
Robin graduated from Brooke High School in 1977. For many years she worked as a teacher's aide for Brooke County Schools. She enjoyed coaching softball for Brooke High School and doing stats for Brooke High School Girls basketball. Robin enjoyed traveling to the beach with friends and spending time with her nieces including Kristi Murphy and Kelsey Rine who were like nieces to her. Playing cards with friends was a favorite part of her life.
Surviving are her two brothers, John "Flash" (Dina) Lahita and Raymond (Beth) Lahita both of Follansbee, WV; four nieces, Raeann (Levi) Doyle, Kaitlyn Lahita, Estella and Johnna Lahita all of Follansbee, WV, two great-nephews, Jameson and Raymond; an Aunt Ruth Ann Jeffries and Uncle Harry Caldwell; along with many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service for friends and family will be held on Saturday, June 27th at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Follansbee, WV with Pastor Tim Colvin officiating.
