Robert Joseph Martaus, born on September 18, 1957, formerly a resident of Toronto, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Robert Martaus and Doris Mae (Spilecki) Martaus, and his brother, Daniel Joseph Martaus.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Martaus; his daughters, Nicole Martaus and Deena (Brandon) Schnabel; five grandchildren, Austin, Thomas, Avery, Carter, and Jackson; his brother Jim (Amy) Martaus and his sister Mariann Martaus.
After moving to Mesa, Arizona, Bob enjoyed a long career as a crane operator at Tempe Crane spanning more than 40 years. He loved traveling back home to Toronto to visit family and friends, vacationing in San Diego, California, where he enjoyed spending time at the beach, and camping and fishing at Woods Canyon.
Bob was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals, and he thoroughly enjoyed NASCAR and The Three Stooges. He was a hardworking, generous man who loved his family deeply and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. jefosterfh
