A. Kathleen Glover, 87, of Weirton, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. She was born on March 16, 1939, the daughter of the late Burt and Margaret (Nice) Yoho. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Glover, and 14 siblings.
Kathleen, was hard working and kind hearted. She loved her family and helped her husband John, with Glover rentals. She enjoyed sitting on her patio, watching flowers bloom and deer and other wildlife that would come into her yard. She was a proud Mom and Mamaw, and would always make Holidays and Birthdays special. Her love lives on in the hearts of all those that knew and loved her.
She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Byers of Weirton, a son, John (Theresa) Glover, of Weirton; six grandchildren, Jermey, Daniel, Helissa, Jamie, Ashley and Josh. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild; also by Susan Glover and a sister Loretta Cox, and a fur-baby Gracie.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell, from 2 pm to 5 pm, and her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 11 am. Interment will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens of Newell.
