Saylar Jo McGrew, 57, passed away on August 5, 2026 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio. Saylar was born on July 13, 1969 in Da Nang, Vietnam. She was the adopted daughter of the late Charles E. & Deon J. McGrew. Saylar dedicated her life to nursing and was nicknamed "Nurse Saylar" for her loving and compassionate nursing career.
Saylar is survived by her brothers Bradley W. & Baxter W. McGrew; sons Sterling A. McGrew & Nolan M. Burchfield; companion Alan Hughes; kitty Vivian Lee and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family & friends.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 p.m. Burial at Unionport Cemetery.
