Edward F. Nutter, 65, of Steubenville, died Monday, September 7, 2026 at home. He was born March 9, 1961 in Rochester, PA. He is the son of Anna George Nutter and the late James Nutter of Brunswick, OH. Edward is also preceded in death by his sister, Amy Finnegan.
Edward was a loan counselor at Wesbanco Bank and was a Catholic. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and people are invited to wear their Steeler gear for the visitation if they would like.
Surviving is his wife, Marcy Gorman Nutter, whom he married on September 30, 2000; two daughters, Danielle Nutter of Wintersville and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Nutter of Steubenville; three brothers, Paul (Lisa) of Hopewell, PA, Tim (Denise) of Pittsburgh, and Mark (Brooke) of Brunswick, OH; two sisters, Robin (Rob) Canei of Follansbee and Jenny (Mike) Woodring of Brunswick, OH; three grandchildren, Major, Lei Lani, and Luka.
To all who came into contact with Ed, he touched their lives forever. He was a fighter through his long battle on earth, but even on his worst days, he was the kindest person to everyone he spoke to. Ed will forever be remembered as a truly remarkable soul who loved and cherished his family immensely.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services at 5:30 p.m., Fr. Gerald Muoka.
