Kathy Roupe 72, of Follansbee, WV left this Earth on July 27, 2026 at home.
She was born on August 4, 1953 in Follansbee, WV a daughter of the late Doris Mechling Welshans and Dwight "Tate" Welshans, with his life companion Millie - though probably not in the same room at the same time.
Kathy loved to play a good hand of Euchre while smoking a cigarette and drinking a cold one. She had a special fondness for her friends at the American Legion Post 45 in Follansbee. Her close family will miss Thanksgiving dinners, her homemade mashed potatoes and skillet fried hamburgers, and how much she loved decorating her Christmas tree.
In addition to her parents, Kathy leaves behind her children and grandchildren: David Yoho, Tracy Yoho (children Ty, Macy and Matthew), Christina Dunlevy Master (husband Danny and children Corleena, Danny, Christian, Ariauna, Elizabeth. Sayley and Kayleah), and many loved great grandchildren. In addition to her children she is also survived by her siblings Linda Perkins of Pittsburgh, Bobbi Dillon Kaufman (Ron) of Wintersville, Dwight "Mike" Welshans of Colliers, and Drema Peterson (the late Guy). Many nieces, nephews, and their children will also miss her.
The family invites you to a Celebration of Life for Kathy on Sunday, September 20th from 1pm-5pm at the Follansbee Community House. Please bring a covered dish and your memories of Kathy to share. RSVP to Mike or Macy.
