Mary Katherine Darago, 96, of Bloomingdale, died Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Valley Hospice. She was born on March 22, 1930, to the late Joseph and Mary Bejciy Puzsar. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John L. Darago and her son, John Joseph Darago.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Surviving are one son, David (Karen) Darago of Bloomingdale; two daughters, Kathy (Thomas) Perrone of Hilton Head, SC, and Jennifer Durbin of Wintersville; four grandchildren Alexis Perrone , Cody, Ashley, and Rachel Durbin; two great- grandchildren, Braxton and Lily Durbin.
Friends are invited to a funeral liturgy with Mass on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Fr. Michael Gossett will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
