Charles Edward Dulaney 90, of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born February 21, 1936, in Wileyville, WV a son of the late Edward Wayne and Gladys (Delaney) Dulaney. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by the love of his life his wife of 57 years, Rose Marie (McClure) Dulaney, two brothers, Zane Dulaney, James Poulton and his four sisters, Wanema Roberts, Reda Mae Amos, Geneva McCarthy, and Norma Martin.
Charles retired from Weirton Steel Corporation where he worked as a motor inspector and electrician. He was a lifelong member of the Colliers United Methodist Church and the Colliers United Methodist Men. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and being a member of the Colliers Sportsman’s Club and a proud member of the Colliers Volunteer Fire Department. Charles mowed the City of Colliers Sign for many years that he did so proudly. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren, but the great-grandchildren brought him the most joy.
Surviving are two children, Lynne (Sam) Schupbach of Colliers, WV and Kevin (Paula) Dulaney of Follansbee, WV; four grandchildren, Ryan Schupbach (Mickeal Connor), Devin (Ree) Dulaney, Keli (Ryan) Crosco, Kaylea (Jake) Harrick; along with nine great grandchildren, Wyatt, Charlie, Amelia, Sawyer, Dulaney, Abigail, Tanner, Sammy, Riley, and one on the way; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st from 2:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 5:00 P.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV with Pastor Lori Jones, officiating.
Inurnment will be held privately in St. John Haven of Rest in Colliers, WV.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may go to Colliers United Methodist Church.
The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice and Dr. A. Kurana and his office staff for the great care given to Charles on his journey.
