Richard "Dick" Maloney, 92, of Steubenville died Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Lancia Villa Vista. He was born on February 11, 1934 in Steubenville to the late Thomas and Hazel Young Maloney.
Dick was retired from AEP where he worked as a Senior Field Rep for many years. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Dick was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 45 in Steubenville, where he has been a Master Mason since 1955. Additionally, he was a member of the Scottish & York Rite, having served in various roles including past presiding officer, Most Wise Master, Meritorious Service Award and Lighting Director.
Dick proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and the United States Marine Corps.
Surviving are his wife Mary Margaret Dailey Maloney; son Thomas (Valerie) of Steubenville; daughter Catherine Pate of Steubenville; grandchildren Ryan, Therese (Caleb) and Michael; great-grandchildren Asher and Emma.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 5, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 12 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will take place at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
