Gerry A. DeCesare, 76, of Follansbee, went home to be with Lord on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Carriage Inn. She was born on June 10, 1949 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Jerry Sweeney and Alice Hicks Winzenreid. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Sweeney, two sisters, Ginny Sweeney and Shelia Sweeney, one nephew, George Slanchik, and one great-nephew, Robert Riley. She was born in Steubenville, the daughter of the late Calvin and Wilma (Kaufman) Dear.
