SAMUEL PEELER JR.

Samuel B. Peeler, Jr., 90, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away Monday June 2, 2025 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH. He was born July 23, 1934 in Mingo Junction, OH a son of the late Samuel B. and Mazie (Booth) Peeler, Sr. Sam retired in 1993 from AEP where he was a lineman then a safety coordinator. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Sam was an avid hunter and enjoyed going to his cabin in Pennsylvania. Susan Christine Lipke, 97, of Weirton, WV, passed Monday, June 2, 2025 at Valley Hospice North, Steubenville, OH. She was born February 17, 1928 in Cascara, WV, daughter of the late Leslie Clarence Riffee and Jessie Marie Stackpole Riffee. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Donald Lawrence Lipke (Jan. 2022); sisters, Joan Volosin and Jean Newman; and brothers, Don Riffee and Sonny Riffee. Randall E. “Tink” McCain, 96, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away Friday May 30, 2025, in the Meadows of Cadiz. Randall was born March 9, 1929, in Rayland, OH, son of the late Francis and Agnes (Bell) McCain.
