Dixie L. Christy, 86, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away on February 18, 2025 at Weirton Medical Center. Dixie was born September 19, 1938 in Brilliant, Ohio a daughter of the late Gerald R. & Tomye Hayes Thorne. She was the retired owner & operator of Dixie’s Laundromat in Toronto, Ohio. Dixie loved horses. She operated Circle M Ranch, training horses for racing mostly at Mountaineer Race Track. She was a 4H leader for many years. Dixie loved Jesus and her family. She is the daughter of the late Vincent and Rosalie Schiavo Cooper.
