Josephine Alesa Scott went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 8, 2024, joining her beloved husband, Donald Lee Scott. She was born in Power, West Virginia on May 19, 1934, to Lester Merl and Laura Rose (Noller) Beagle, Josie spent her life in dedication to her family, faith, and community. Friends may visit Josie’s family on Friday, July 12, from 11 am until 1 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where her funeral service will be celebrated at 1 pm. Daniel Paul Martin, 74, of Follansbee, WV passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at SalemWest in Salem,, OH. He was born October 24, 1949 in Weirton, WV a son of the late Bernard Rex Martin and Jessie (Wyatt) Martin. He is also preceded by his wife Clara (Black) Martin. SUNNY LEE SOLOMON

Sunny Lee Solomon of Steubenville, OH, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. He was the son of the late Dessie and Easter B. Solomon. Mr. Solomon served in the United States Army and was a member of Shiloh Apostolic Church in Weirton, WVA. He retired from Weirton Steel as an electrician. Linda Evelyn Moody 84, of Pahrump Nevada sadly left us on May 20th 2024. She was born February 3rd 1940 in Steubenville, Ohio. She is survived by her husband Wayne of 58 years, a son Mat(Shelby), a stepdaughter Debbie(Frank), and 5 wonderful grandchildren Madeline, Bliss, Benjamin, Beverly and Devan. Her son Lonnie preceded her in death in 2020. Linda will be greatly missed. In accordance with her wishes, her body was donated to science and her remains cremated. A celebration of life will be held on October 12, 2024.
