Matilda “Tilllie” Kolosky, 101, of Weirton, WV, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. She was born December 25, 1922 in Bellaire, OH, daughter of the late Antone and Maria Tasovac Zurich. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter Kolosky (1986); sister, Mary Joyce; 4 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Tillie was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, where she was active in Christian Mothers. She was also a member of Weirton VFW Post No. 2716 Auxiliary, AARP and Three Score Seniors. Ida Zaladziejewski, 94, of Weirton passed away, Wednesday, August 21, 2024, following a lengthy illness. Born July 14, 1930, in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late Manual and Adela Vilpido Menendez. Ida was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Zaladziejewski; daughter, Nancy Blankenship; infant son; sister, Margie Marker and son-in-law, John Kosanovich.
