Doris June (Pfister) Care, 83, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Sunday. Doris was born on June 26, 1940 in Steubenville, OH. She was the daughter of the late George and Winifred (Forster) Pfister. Doris was a member of the Hooverson Heights Church of Christ. She worked for the former Rockdale Metal, the car lot in Follansbee and Brooke Hills Park as a bookkeeper. Many will remember Doris for being a high school track star, swimming the Ohio River and for her devotion to dogs and horses.
