Wanda Faye Recht, 79, of Weirton, WV, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024. She was born on January 5, 1945, in the family’s home in Bartleyville, PA, one of seven children born to Robert and Evelyn Tustin Thompson. Wanda graduated from Union High School in 1962. Many people will remember her as the manager of Mickey’s Market in Weirton for 15 years. In 1992, Wanda found love once again when she married Milton “Mickey” Recht. Together, they embarked on a journey filled with joy, playing golf, and exploring the world through travel in the United States and overseas. ...

Richard L. “Rich” Medcalf, 55, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Trinity West ER. He was born on October 13, 1968 in Steubenville, Ohio. He was a member of Jefferson Sportsman’s Association and enjoyed remodeling houses, tinkering in his garage and NASCAR racing. Rich is employed by Ohio Valley Electric Company.
