VIRGINIA SHEPHERD

Virginia Mayhew Richards Shepherd of Weirton passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at PAM Health in Imperial PA. She was ninety-nine years old. Friends and family may visit with Virginia’s family on Thursday, January 18, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Greco - Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Where additional visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, from 10 am until the time of her 11 am funeral service. Pastor William Stout will officiate. Pauline ‘Liz’ West, 79, of Steubenville, OH, passed away on January 12, 2024. She was born in Rock Hill, SC—the daughter of the late Early and Pauline Smith. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jay West. Left to cherish her memory are her many children, a sister Mary Hudson Burns and a special friend, Brenda Boone, and a host of family and friends. Visitation is Friday, January 19, 2024, at noon at Vinson Mortuary, 711 North Fifth Street in Steubenville, OH, with a funeral service at 1 PM. Shirley A. Frye, 87, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Friday January 12, 2024 at home. She was born January 2, 1937 in Adena, OH, a daughter of the late Dean and Gwendolyn L. (Nation) Merriman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Eugene J. “Gene” Frye, Sr.; and a granddaughter, Alexandra Faye DeLong.
