SALVADOR “SAL” TRUJILLO

Salvador “Sal” Trujillo, of Weirton, WV affectionately known as “Sal” and to many of his colleagues as “Sal Bando,” passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 following a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was 86 years old. Born on January 13, 1940, in Weirton, WV, Sal was the son of Salvador Trujillo and Juanita Garcia Trujillo. Sal grew up in Weirton alongside his two sisters, Tonia and Eve.
