Early voting was easy process
To the Editor,
Kudos and hats off to the Hancock County Board of Elections for a great job for early voting at the courthouse.
On Oct. 23, we arrived shortly before the courthouse opened. Voting had not started but about 10 people had already been screened for temperature checks and had passed through the security check. Chairs had been provided in the lobby. Numbers were distributed to be called when voting started. Mr. Tucker nicely helped voters with social distancing outside while the inside workers graciously guided voters in the lobby and into the voting room where things were nicely separated. We were there for about an hour.
Several hundred residents have already voted, and it is always gratifying to know they exercised their right to vote.
Thank you, board of elections and other courthouse workers who made this a very easy process.
